Said she was with the Welcome Wagon.
If you’ve never heard of it, it's one of those old-school neighborly things where people show up with coupons, cookies, and a little something to make you feel at home.
She handed me a plain box and said:
"You’re gonna love this. It makes Christmas happen fast."
I thought maybe it was homemade fudge… or a wreath.
Nope.
Inside? Folded fabric, gold decorations, and a little Santa with a built-in projector.
Taped to the top was a card:
I chuckled. Honestly, I thought it was a gag gift.
Then I opened it up.
